Free Truckee Sledding Area – Donner Pass Rd
Between Safeway and before the round about toward downtown Truckee, you will
find people of all ages tubing and sledding on the open field to the right when heading toward Downtown
Truckee. The Yellow Circles are the roundabouts of 89 on the left and just before downtown on the right. Closest
street is Levon.

This has been a big issue, and may lead to closing the place down.
From January through to April, Tahoe Donner holds various Tube Racing &
Tube Bowling events, as well as Tubing at Night and even snowman building competitions. Dates are
specific, so be sure to check in ahead of time, call (530) 587-9437 or email snowplay@tahoedonner.com. Rates
New Access location this year is next to the maintenance shop. Enjoy a day of
smiles tubing at the amazing Boreal Resort and there Playland Tubing Center with 2 moving carpets to
easily get back to the top, and plenty of tubing lanes! Your own tubes or sleds are not permitted.
Squaw Valley – SnoVentures Activity Zone
With amazing views of the resort in Olympic Valley, join your friends and
family for a tubing session you can remember forever. Just at the base of Squaw and all the way to the
left near Red Dog lift, you will find a day of fun for just $34. You must be 40 inches tall to Tube, and
sessions are 55 minutes long. Call 800-403-0206 for time and availability
Ride the 200 yard hill, located mid-mountain just above the Gondola.
Purchase tickets at the Tickets & Season Pass Office in the Village at Northstar. Prices are
$40 for the 1st hour, and $30 each remaining hour. Call 530-562-2267 for information.
